Francesca Falzon Young's participation in the FINA Airweave World Cup Leg held in Doha, Qatar 8-9 October 2016

Francesca Falzon Young, the Maltese swimmer based in Dubai has recently returned from Doha where she represented Malta during the FINE Airweave World Cup Leg held in Doha, Qatar between the 8th and 9th October 2016.
This was a very useful experience for Francesca where she had the opportunity to swim alongside some of the best and fastest swimmers in the world to the likes of Katinka Hosszu and Alia Atkinson. 
She swam in 5 events and managed to make a final in the 200m Freestyle. It was a proud and unforgettable moment when Francesca's name and Malta were announced during the swimmers parade before the start of the final.
Francesca was happy with her performances and although she was not tapered, she managed to PB in 100m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly and swam close to her PBs in the other events.
